Some bumps and scratches but an impressive set. Neat ink inscription on the first blank. Colour title in volume 1. Slight foxing. Illustrations throughout the text. John Froissart was a French speaking medieval chronicler who expressed the chivalric revival of the 14th century and is an important source for the first half of the Hundred Years War.
