Poems of Adam Lindsay Gordon
London: Oxford University Press, 1912. Full morocco, 7 1/2 inches tall. An elegant, most good looking binding signed by Morrell and by Truslove and Hanson of Sloane Street who were luxury book sellers, book binders and acted as London agents for the State Library of New South Wales. Bound in full crushed morocco with gilt raised bands and very fine and delicate gilt tooling to the panels and boards with tiny green calf onlays. Gilt dentelles and all edges. Portrait. One blank has been neatly removed. Gordon was the first Australian poet to achieve considerable recognition overseas, though his tragically short life ended before he was able to enjoy this.

Gilt dentelles and superb gauffered gilt edges. With an neat small inscription dated 1864 to 'Georgie Waddell from her cousin C.M. Fenton Livingstone'. Illustrated with over 100 designs by John Gilbert, engraved by the brothers Dalziel. Some rubbing but in fine condition.

London: Routledge, 1859. Full morocco, 9 inches tall. A splendid heavy Victorian hard grain morocco binding with gilt raised bands and elaborate gilding to the panels. With Illustrations by Birket Foster and H.N. Humphreys. The remarkable boards have a series of gilt fillets and rolls framing a gilt block illustrating a family group gesturing, in sorrow, towards a village church whence they have just left. Gilt dentelles and all edges. There is a stain on the border of the end papers and some foxing, but still a beautifully illustrated and bound volume.
