Oxford Prize Poems: Being a Collection of Such English Poems as have at Various Times Obtained Prizes in the University of Oxford.
Oxford: J. Parker, 1819. Full calf, 6 1/2 inches tall. A very good looking Regency full calf with wide gilt raised bands, black label and bold gilt centre tooling to the panels. A series of gilt and blind rolls, fillets and corner tooling and a blue inlaid panel create interesting panels, typical of the period, on both boards. An ink inscription, dated 1821 is found on the first blank. Slight rubbing and scuffing but still a fine copy.

Oxford: Rivington, 1810. Half morocco, 8.5 inches tall. A high quality binding with gilt raised bands and very finely gilt tooled panels. Ink owners name on the title page. Slight foxing and a tear in the gutter of the title page and first page of the preface, not affecting the text. A new and corrected edition.

Paris: Charles Hingray, c.1840. Vellum, 4.5 inches tall. A delightful little volume in full vellum with red calf label, gilt pallets and pink edges. A charming work containing useful everyday phrases such as "I'd have killed myself, had I not been restrained by the remembrance of her", "Give me my drawers, stockings and pantaloons" and "Then I shall have spared that wretch but for my own ruin".
