With gilt raised bands end dense and very finely tooling to the panels and gilt fillets, rolls and corner tools to the boards. Gilt dentelles and all edges. With over 145 superbly engraved portraits. The diced boards are framed within blind and gilt rolls. There is a neat ink inscription dated 1810 on the reverse of the free endpaper. A splendid example of a binding of this period on a fourth edition of this celebrated poem.

A splendid example of a binding of this period on a tenth edition of this celebrated poem.
