No 49 of a limited edition of just 270. Bound by 'Bremer Binder F. TH.' A finely printed and bound collection of early French love songs in French.

London: Essex House Press, 1901. Full vellum, 6 inches tall. A fine example with yapp edges and black lettering to the spine. Uncut. One of 250 copies, of which this is number 74. A delightful work printed at this great Private Press 'under the care of C.R. Ashbee'.

Paris: Bibliotheque des Curieux, (1910). Half morocco, 6 inches tall. A very curious item in a curious binding with gilt raised bands, raised head and tail and ornate gilt tooling to the spine. Gilt top edge. One of 500 copies. Original wrappers bound in. The tale of the seduction of a novice by a priest.

London: Nimmo and Bain, 1883. Half morocco, 9 inches tall. A simple but accomplished binding by the great firm of Ramage, with raised bands and neat gilt framed panels. The spine is faded but bright on the shelf. One of 150 copies. With 4 etchings and a portrait of Beckford by A.H. Tourrier.
