Leighton of Brewer Street from the library of Alfred de Rothschild, but without his bookplate. With twin gilt raised bands and wonderful gilt tooling to the panels and boards. Gilt dentelles and all edges. With 100 copperplate engravings, as called for. A huge and very heavy volume in excellent condition.

Munich: P. Kaeser, 1881. Full morocco, 26 1/2 inches tall. A colossal and superb full morocco binding by the great firm of J. Gilt dentelles and all edges. With 50 engraved plates, as called for. Some scratches to the lower board, otherwise in fine condition. A huge and very heavy volume in German and French.

London: Macmillan and Co., 1906. Full crushed morocco, 7 1/2 inches tall. A very fine full crushed morocco by the great firm of Morrell with gilt raised bands, suitably macabre/comic centre tools and ornate gilding to the spine and boards. Gilt dentelles and all edges. There is a neat ink former owners name on the first blank that has partially offset. 20 superb full page steel engravings by Cruikshank, Leech and the author. A super copy of this classic comic work.

London: Fisher, Son, & Co., 1844-1846. 3 volume set, 11 inches tall. A handsome set in half morocco with gilt raised bands, finely gilt tooled panels and all edges gilt. With all 193 engraved plates. Some marginal foxing and slight rubbing to the joints. A very nice set.
