With gilt raised bands, twin labels and very fine gilt tooling to the panels. Gilt dentelles and top edge. With 36 hand coloured aquatints by I.R. and George Cruikshank and folding pages of songs. Some offsetting from the plates. The images illustrate the hilarious and bawdy adventures of Jerry and his companions in London.

Triple gilt fillets and corner tools frame the boards. Gilt dentelles and all edges. Delicate vignettes and 14 hand tinted engravings by Alken. A smart copy of this charming work.

Paris: Gibert Jeune Librairie d'Amateurs, 1938. 4to (10½" tall). Full blue crushed morocco. Splendid 1930's French binding with a series of wide bands each bearing a letter of the title. Coloured calf inlay and gilt tooling on the upper board. Top edge gilt.

A scarce quarto late Victorian edition in an imposing half morocco by Zaehnsdorf with raised bands and gilt centre tools and top edge. With 10 tipped on hand coloured plates and numerous vignettes throughout on india paper by John Leech. Rather large ink inscription on the past down endpaper.
