Engraved frontispiece and title page to Atala. some small abrasions to the lower board. Three popular exotic tales in a neat Regency binding.

Blank and half title removed. Light foxing. A scarce title, in the original Spanish, from Baudry's European Library.

London: Macmillan, 1890. Half calf, 7.5 inches tall. A lovely binding with gilt raised bands, fine panels with 'country sport' centre tools and gilt top edge. Illustrated.

London: Longman, Brown, Green and Longmans, 1852. Half calf, 7 inches tall. A neat Victorian binding by Larkins with gilt raised bands, hunting centre tools, twin labels and gilt top edge. Foxing to the preliminaries.

London: Suttaby, 1821; Suttaby, 1821; Suttaby, 1826; Suttaby, 1820. Full calf, 5 inches tall. A delightful little Georgian binding with gilt raised bands, gilt tooled panels and boards. Each title is separately paginated and has its own frontispiece.

London: Dennis Archer, 1932. Full orange vellum, 10 inches tall. With fine decoration in gilt and black. From a limited edition of only 75 numbered copies, this is copy number 9, containing a signed artist's proof. Very slight cockling, a small neat owner's inscription on the free end paper. Otherwise an excellent copy.

Oxford: James Parker and Co, 1868. Morocco, 5.5 inches tall. With raised bands, gilt titles and black palletes on spine, boards and dentelles. All edges gilt over pink. An inscription dated 1869 on the first blank. Slight foxing to the preliminaries, otherwise a clean copy in excellent condition. Illustrated throughout.
