Speckled edges. Portrait. With the ticket of Asperne. According to Ramsden's 'London Bookbinders 1780-1840' James Asperne of 32 Cornhill patronised the bindery of the great J. Lovejoy to create his bindings. A fine set of this scarce and interesting work.
