London: Parker, 1856. Half calf, 6.5 inches tall. An elegant half calf binding with twin labels, gilt raised bands and fine gilt panels. The armorial bookplate of Lord Manning. This interesting volume contains the famous ballads from the end of the 14th century to the beginning of the 17th century including, Robin Hood, Chevy Chase, King Arthur's Death, Lady Greensleeves and Many others. A fine copy.

London: Trubner, 1870. Half calf, 5.5 inches tall. A fine binding by Sotheran of Piccadilly with gilt raised bands, finely gilt tooled panels, label and gilt top edge. Some staining to the calf. Still firm and solid but with slight splitting to the joints.

London: John Sharpe, 1827. Full crushed morocco, 5.5 inches tall. A delightful little volume in a simple yet very elegant binding with raised bands, gilt titles, dentelles and all edges. With 6 engravings by Westall. In the minor poems, pages 143 to 165 were not bound in.
