Foxing to preliminaries otherwise clean. Scratch in the bottom panel of volume III. Leo X, Giovanni di Lorenzo de' Medici, was the second son of Lorenzo de' Medici. He was a great patron of the Arts who indulged in a colourful and varied life as Pope, having stated upon election 'since God has given us the papacy, let us enjoy it'.
