London: Hodder and Stoughton, c.1924. Full morocco, 8 inches tall. A fine full crushed morocco by Zaehnsdorf with raised bands and simple gilt centre tools. Twin gilt fillets frame the boards which have the gilt monogram NLB. Gilt dentelles and all edges. The spine is faded to a natural tan, otherwise in fine condition. Lacks front free endpaper. All 16 tipped in plates by Arthur Rackham have their tissues and are not creased. With the original Asprey & Company receipt dated 1926.
