London: Henry Colburn, 1826-27. 5 volume set, 7 1/4 inches tall. An attractive later half calf binding with gilt raised bands, twin contrasting red labels and all edges gilt by Bayntun. This is the first edition of Disraeli's first novel. The text is very clean but the binding is faded and rubbed and volume IV has a repaired top panel, but the set has no splitting or loss and still looks smart. With half titles in volumes II and V, as called for.
