The boards have a series of gilt fillets and corner tools creating a panel. Calf doublures. Blue speckled edges. Two further volumes were published several years later. Some rubbing but solid and with no splitting. The spines are bright but have faded somewhat. With the armorial bookplate of Sir William Forbes of Pitsligo.
