A pretty set in half pink calf with gilt raised bands, twin labels, including a delightful volume label within a gilt starburst and floral gilt tooling to the panels. With the bookplate of Judge Macklin, an ink inscription to Bert, dated 1887, a stamp for Emanuel School Library and a stamp for A. Romer Macklin. Despite these marks the set is clean and in great condition.
