With the binder's ticket of Albert Günther of Vienna, and from the Library of the Auersperg Palais, though the bookplates have been neatly removed. With 47 splendid wood-engraved plates and 34 steel-engraved plates and very numerous vignettes by Daumier, Staal, Daubigny, Célestin Nanteuil and others.. An exceptionally clean and fine set of the first illustrated edition of this fascinating work.
