Birminghamiae (Brirmingham): Typis Johannis Baskerville, 1772. Full morocco, 11 3/4 inches tall. A magnificent full; heavy morocco from the late 18th century with gilt raised bands, glorious gilt tooling to the panels, dentelles and all edges. The boards are framed within triple fillets and a glorious series of gilt tools creating a wide border. With the armorial bookplates of V. H. Wilmot Esqr. and Lord Glenconner. There is slight rubbing and a small patch of superficial loss to the surface of the front corner of the upper board. But this is a superb well margined, tall copy of this great work.
