Rubbed with the occasional abrasion or chip but solid with no cracking. The volume for 1806 is in full straight grain morocco with gilt bands, green label and fine gilt tooling to the panels. The volume for 1811 is 8 1/2 inches tall in full tree calf with red label and gilt bands. A splendid run of this great work of military reference.
