Aucassin And Nicolette
London: Andrew Melrose, 1914. Full crushed morocco, 10 iches tall. A splendid copy bound by Bumpus with raised bands, titles, elegant gilt tooling to the spine and boards. Wide dentelles and all edges gilt. With full page illustrations in colour and black and white. The spine has been somewhat faded by the sun but still an exceptionally attractive copy in otherwise pristine condition. A fine interpretation of this 12th century French romance.
