MUSIC ~ The Musical Miscellany; Being a Collection of Choice Songs, Set to the Violin and Flute, By the most Eminent Masters.
London: John Watts, 1729 - 1731
6 volume set, 7 inches tall. A superb 18th century miscellany in a later half mottled calf by Zaehnsdorf with gilt raised bands, twin labels and fine gilt tooling to the panels. Gilt top edges. With the tiny stamp of Bretano's of New York as well as that of the binder on the reverse of the front free endpaper. Frontispieces and decorated throughout with engraved devices, this collection is rarely found complete and in this fine condition.
