Full diced calf, 8.5 inches tall. A near contemporary binding with gilt raised bands, blind and gilt pallets and gilt centre tools. A bookplate has been rather roughly removed from the paste-down endpaper. A curious and scarce work. Elizabeth Kent was a respected English Botanist who wrote Flora Domestica' with her brother in law Leigh Hunt, the famous critic and writer.
