An Armenian press was established at the Monastery of St. Lazarus in 1716. Located on the smallest island in the Venetian lagoon, it was originally a refuge for lepers. This work issued by the press contains specimens of Armenian, Greek, German, Spanish, Dutch, Hungarian, Italian, Latin, English and others.
