4to (11" tall). Superb full Russian calf, with wide gilt raised bands on spine and gilt tooling to panels. Triple gilt ruled edges to boards. Gilt dentelles and all edges, marbled endpapers. Very pretty woodcut initials, head- and tail-pieces, wide margins. A fine copy.
An extremely handsome Eton College prize binding and printing, containing six of Terence's comedies: Andria, Eunuchus, Heauton Timorumenos, Adelphi, Hecyra, Phormio.
