5 volumes, 15 inches tall. A splendid set of all that was ever published of a proposed vast folio edition of Kippis's great biographical dictionary. The work ground to a halt at the end of volume five at page 710, under Fastolff. This copy is in splendid condition in half calf with twin labels, gilt bands and centre tools. Beautiful 'Stormont' marbled paper to the boards. A remarkable set of this very scarce work.
