4to (11" tall). Full red straight grain morocco. Twin raised bands and very fine gilt tooling to the spine. Magnificent wide gilt rolls to the boards. Floral gilt dentelles and all edges gilt. 76 engraved plates, with original tissue guards. Upper corners slightly bumped. Small stain affecting the upper margin of the first hundred pages, not affecting the text or detracting from this truly stunning binding.
