& CO. BELFAST, red label, gilt raised bands, superb
floral pattern to panels, floral roll framing large
armorial device of Queen's College Belfast to both
boards, marbled edges and endpapers. Prize bookplate
dated 1860 to front pastedown and ownership inscription
dated 1920 to first blank. A superb set.
One of greatest French playwrights, Moliere is best
known for his dramas including Le Misanthrope, (The
Misanthrope), L'Ecole des femmes (The School for Wives)
and Tartuffe ou l'Imposteur, (Tartuffe or the Hypocrite).
Uniformly bound with our copies of Pascal, Racine and
La Fontaine.
