floral pattern to panels, floral roll framing large
armorial device of Queen's College Belfast to both
boards, marbled edges and endpapers. Prize bookplate
dated 1860 to front pastedown. A superb set.
Racine was one of the most important
seventeenth-century European literary figures; best
known for his tragedies, he is often associated with
Molière and Corneille.
