7 vols., 12mo (6.5 x 4 inches). Full tortoiseshell calf, with twin labels of various shades of brown and red, raised bands, and pretty gilt floral tooling to panels. Edges red, marbled endpapers. Illustrated with pretty woodcut head and tail pieces. French and Latin text. Neat inscription to reverse of front endpaper of volume one. Little rubbed, with slight loss of head and tail caps.
A handsome eighteenth century continental binding. Translations from Latin into French of the following works: Vol I, Vie d'Agricola & Moeurs des Germains; Vols. II-IV, Annales; Vols. VI-VII, Histoire.
