raised bands with twin labels, one label with gilt
armorial device. Gilt pallets framing blind centre
tool to panels. Binder's signature in gilt lettering
at tail of spine. Attractive marbled boards, edges and
endpapers. Slightly spotted.
A very handsome copy, bound by one of the most
prestigious early nineteenth century London binderies.
An unusually early edition of Moore's novel, The
Epicurean, published in the same year as the first
edition in London.
