with triple olive and dark blue labels. Lavish Greek
urns to panels. Gilt roll framing boards. Dentelles and
marbled boards. Engraved frontispieces and title pages.
An occasional chipped head cap, but otherwise in superb
condition. A exceptionally long run, but sadly lacking
three volumes, Milton (vols. 28 and 29), and Watts
(vol. 65). Volume 91, Thomson has come from another set
in a remarkably similar binding.
A lovely eighteenth century collection in full tree
calf. Authors including Chaucer, Donne, Dryden, Swift,
Congreve, Pope, et al.
