centre tools, dentelles and all edges. Gilt crossed
swords and jackdaw on the boards. With typed bookplate

Cruikshank, Leech, and Barham. The Reverend Barham
published his hugely popular Ingoldsby Legends under
a pseudonym, possibly to avoid the charges of
irreverence made against his lively and humorous work.
