Gilt ruled dentelles, all edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Frontispiece plate, engraved vignettes throughout. Armorial bookplate. Little foxed. A few marks and blemishes, but overall a stunning copy.
A distinctive and bold Victorian binding, beautifully illustrated throughout by the best known Victorian book illustrators, Cruikshank, Leech and Tenniel.
